Reviews and Ratings
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The rooms are beautifully decorated, but facing a rather noisy street. They are small but efficiently laid out, perfect for a group of 3 with 5 suitcases. The service was exceptional, especially from Jean who even had our room ready ahead of check-in time. The location is unbeatable, close to major attractions and surrounded by lively cafes. However, the dining experience could definitely use some improvement, and the price for what is offered doesn't quite match.
The hotel has an authentic touch of old Paris, but the rooms smelled of cigarettes and felt dated, especially the shower. The service was amazing-friendly and helpful without being intrusive or obsequious. The location functioned well despite high temperatures and had lots of lovely shops and restaurants. The dining was delicious, but there was a surcharge for basic items. Overall, the hotel offers a mix of positive and negative aspects.
Staying on the 5th floor, with roomy spaces and very nice bathrooms, offered a clean and quiet environment accessible only through a narrow spiral staircase. The hotel provides a great location for important landmarks in the city, within easy reach of major sites and just a few blocks from the Metro, making it a wonderful choice. Close to bars and restaurants, it boasts a cozy atmosphere ideal for exploration.
When I arrived back to the hotel at 4 pm, the room was not clean yet, and it turned out to be incredibly small for two people with a tiny bed. On the brighter side, the breakfast space, albeit small, had a cozy atmosphere at night.
The hotel exudes a cozy and warm Parisian flair that I found delightful, with personalized greetings, an honesty bar, a welcoming fireplace, a charming breakfast area, and intimate rooms. The room size might be small, but that's common in this area, which adds to the charm. However, it can be a bit tight if you have a lot of luggage.
I had a wonderful experience at Hotel Odeon Saint Germain. The back rooms, though small, were cozy and immaculate, meeting all my needs. The service was exceptional, especially from Jean, who went above and beyond to make our 60th Birthday celebration memorable. The location in the St Germain District was perfect, buzzing with cafes and just minutes away from the main boulevard. The dining options, while decent, could use a bit more variety. Overall, a great stay with excellent value for money.
